Our Why

Magnolia & Grace was never just an idea—it’s something that has been planted in me for years.

From watching someone build something beautiful out of nothing, to sewing clothes for my daughter because I couldn’t afford what I envisioned, I’ve always had a desire to create something of my own. I’ve started and stopped this dream more than once—not because I didn’t believe in it, but because of fear and the need for stability.

But this time is different.

This time, I’m not just doing it for me—I’m doing it because I have four kids watching me.

I have a daughter away at college, learning how to stand on her own and chase her future even when it feels lonely.

I have a son chasing a lifelong dream of playing Division I football, knowing it comes with sacrifice and uncertainty.

I have a daughter with a God-given talent who is brave enough to pursue something unconventional, even when the world tells her to choose a different path.

I have another daughter learning, in real time, what it means to work hard, push past fear, and earn something she truly wants.

And I have a son who lives boldly in his faith without hesitation—the kind of courage we all wish we had more of.

So my “why” became very clear:

Who would I be if I taught my kids to pray, trust God, work hard, and not let fear hold them back… but didn’t live that out myself?

Magnolia & Grace is my step out of the boat.

It’s my way of showing them that faith isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something we act on.

And it’s also deeply personal.

For most of my life, I’ve struggled with body dysmorphia and not feeling comfortable in my own skin. That journey shaped my heart for other women and led me to find ways to help them feel confident and beautiful as they are. I’ve taught spin classes to empower women to feel strong in their bodies, and I’ve created a space through my podcast to speak life into women—encouraging them to be 100% unapologetically themselves.

Magnolia & Grace is an extension of all of that.

This business isn’t just about clothing. It’s about creating a space where women feel confident, encouraged, and seen. A place rooted in faith, community, and grace—where every woman who walks through the door leaves feeling better than when she came in.

It’s about building something meaningful, trusting God in the process, and proving—to myself and to my kids—that it’s never too late to go after what’s been placed on your heart.
